About Us

The Holy Spirit Council of the Knights of Columbus #13486 is located in Waterville, Maine. Meetings are held monthly at the Sacred Heart Church in Waterville, every first Monday of the Month at 7:00 PM.

The Council has served the Waterville area since 2003 and currently has 80 members on its rolls. Since our Charter, our Council has been an active supporter of the Church, the Community, as well as two local Catholic Schools. The Council has been active in projects such as “Warm Hands From Warm Hearts” in which our Council worked with church parishioners in supplying over 400 pairs of mittens for needy children in our area, as well as helping two area soup kitchens, community meals, supporting local Seminarians, and other Charitable projects..

Today, our Council continues to further the efforts established by its founding Knights, as well as graciously welcoming and accepting new Catholic Brothers into the Order and into Council #13486. The Council’s Knights continue to help support Corpus Christi Parish through the Eucharistic and Catechetical Ministries. Charitable contributions are also periodically made to the Maine General Cancer Center, Maine Special Olympics, as well as other worthy community organizations.

As local Catholic Parishes merged into Clusters the area Knights of Columbus Councils comprising of St. John Council #7300, St. Theresa’s Council #12265, Immaculate Heart of Mary Council #11303, Somerset Council #2089, Guardian Angel Council #2399, as well as Holy Spirit Council #13486, comprise a voluntary, informal alliance working together as “One”. Through this work, area Councils can more accomplish their efforts to further the Order’s principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity.

Our Council is also an active participant in the 4th Degree, the Knights Patriotic Degree.  The Greater Waterville Assembly #341 also meets at the Sacred Heart Church in Waterville, every third Monday of the month, beginning at 7:00PM.
